Newborn Sessions

There’s nothing in the world quite as transformative as bringing home your new baby. It’s the beginning of everything. Newborn photography is an investment in documenting the fleeting and intangible: the weight of your new baby in your arms, the warmth of your partner when they’re wrapped around you, and those tiny details that just won’t keep.

Lifestyle Session

For LifeStyle Newborn sessions, no props are used.
The focus will be on photos of family members together with your new babe. While I will offer you plenty of guidance and direction, the goal will always be for your photographs to feel likes true family memories.
Portraits of your newborn will take place in your arms and on a soft surface in your home such as a bed or couch.
Babies can be anywhere from 5 days to 6 weeks old for these sessions.

Lifestyle sessions are typically about 1 hour long.

Approximately 3 weeks after your session you will receive 30 edited photos delivered in an online gallery.

$500 plus tax
A $50 nonrefundable retainer is required at booking to reserve your session date. The remaining amount is due the day of your session. Payment plan options are available upon request.

I would recommend reaching out in your second trimester to book your newborn session.

I will book your due date in my calendar and then once your baby arrives you will reach out to me as soon as possible so that we can get your actual session scheduled.

For the most part, my newborn sessions take place in the client home.
If for any reason you are not interested in having your newborn photos taken at home we can look at booking a studio space in Spokane - there are lots of good options! The studio fee will be added to your invoice amount.

For me, Lifestyle photography means that while I do help pose individuals, the focus is primarily on documenting the connection between family members.
Any poses will be baby-led.
I do not utilize costumes or props in my newborn portraits.
